How to get Rock Lee eyebrows.

Hello, Everyone!

Continuing from yesterday's post, I'll be filling in my eyebrows this time. I prefer a clean but natural look, unfortunately, my eyebrows aren't very full. I'll be using a pencil that is a bit too light for me so that you can see what I'm doing a bit easier. (I also made it a little bit thick, but you'll forgive me, right?)

Starting from the inner corner, take your brow pencil and make tiny strokes (it'll imitate the natural look of hairs) and draw it out to your arch.

Then continue down towards the end of your brow. Defining just the top of your brow will keep it looking natural but still get the clean line.

 Taking an angled brush and a dark eyeshadow or brow powder in a shade that matches your hair color, start in the center of your brows and work your way towards the inner part. Doing it this way will concentrate the pigment on the center and your brows won't get too dark in the inner corner, preventing that boxy look.

Take a clear mascara or brow gel and gently brush through your brows like you would with a spoolie. (a spoolie is a brush used for grooming the eyebrows)

And here is the finished result! This is great for those who like the natural look, and it can even thicken your brows.

Tutorial: A Simple Look Using TheBalm Balmbini Babies of TheBalm Face Palette

Hi, everyone!

I'm going to create a tutorial using a palette I got for Amber :) It's called TheBalm Balmbini Babies of TheBalm Face Palette! Crazy name, right?

And Here it is!


Sorry for such a picture heavy post, but I want it to be as easy to understand as possible.
Foundation, bronzer, blush and eyebrows done!

Prime the eyes (I like this step because my eyeshadow creases in an hour) and then lightly brush a light matte eyeshadow over the entire area, any skin toned eyeshadow works.


I put Insane Jane all over my lid and in my crease with my angled eyeshadow brush. (Urban Decay Mushroom is very similar)


Using the Same brush, apply a darker shadow of your choice to darken the crease and outer edge of the lid, I used Jealous Jordana here. Remember to start light and gradually add more, it can get really dark, really quick.


And then blend out with a clean brush.


Take a small pencil brush or any kind of precision brush and apply the darker shadow along your bottom lash line.


Then take a small brush (or your finger, like I did) and apply a small amount of a highlighter to the inner corner of your eye. This will help brighten up darker looks.


Line your top lash line as close as possible to the lashes, thinner is good for people who don't have much lid space to start with. Then line up the curve of your bottom lash line to the end of your eyebrow.


Draw your wing, and then...



Fill it in.


Tight line with a good quality eyeliner, if you have sensitive eyes you might want to skip this step.


Curl your lashes and apply mascara and you're done!

Apply favorite lipstick and remember to smile! :)

Introductions

I'm Amber, I'm 24 and from Arizona. I have very sensitive and dry skin. I love to try new products and I wish I had unlimited funds to shop all the time, but that might take all the fun out of getting new things every so often. (Yeah, I'll just keep telling myself that.)

And I'm Kylie, I'm 23 (for one more month!) and Amber is my best friend. I just started getting into makeup this past year or so and I've been loving every day of it! Amber and I don't get to see each other as often as we'd like, so this is a great way for us to enjoy our hobby together.

My skin type is dry like a desert with flaky patches. My skin tone is just a little off, with some redness in my cheeks and nose. And I have neutral undertones so I can wear both yellow and pink, but I think my skin favors yellow.
